This is a lightweight mesh to keep the bugs out. I am using it to prevent issues with potato bugs and cabbage worms.
My biggest concern was whether water would go through the screen. It does. Almost like there is no screen. It seems like the material will be heavy enough to get a couple seasons out of it, if I am reasonably careful with it.
The screen has about the same size holes as a window screen. I did find a couple spots where it is coming unraveled. I don’t think that will affect me. Also, for the price, I don’t expect it to last too many years.
So far, I love this product and the price. It anything tragic happens with it, I will update my review!
