 In our area tomato yellow leaf curl virus is spread by whiteflies, and spraying alone couldn't hold it back two years ago — infection hit 30% of plants. This year we built a 50-mesh net house: whiteflies can't get in, infection stayed under 2% for the whole season, yield was protected and the fruit surface stayed clean.
