Enviromesh netting Finally a chemical free way to successfully raise plants in the cabbage family! You must set it up properly so that it is sealed all the way around, and you must carefully check the netting every morning for the odd cabbage butterfly that may have gained access (and squash them when you see them). The netting allows sunlight and water to filter in, but does not trap heat the way some insect nets do. A great product!

Great stuff, highly recommended I have been using Enviromesh in my own garden as well as a community garden for several years. I have found nothing better. If properly secured, it keeps bugs out. It also wears like iron, lasting many years. I particularly like that you can see the plants underneath, unlike tissue-like opaque row cover, and that it is cooler in summer and lets in rain more readily. I only wish it were available in more lengths and widths.
